OASIS - "Open Artwork System Interchange Standard" - has anyone seen has anyone heard of?

The latest and greatest CAD file format to design microchips, devices that can go to billions of transistors these days, is apparently OASIM® - Open Artwork System Interchange Standard. Quick question, has anyone heard about it before? Couple of demoes on the Internet show quite a promising performance, but it’s not easy to find more information about similarities/differences to CAD formats outside of EDA.

Has anyone had any experience with using it and could recommend it for a potential integration with Rhino?

This is the only thread on this forum regarding electrical design of Rhino.
