Can anyone direct me to a Gemstone Library that is free or relatively inexpensive? I prefer nurbs to meshes.

Why not use the MeshToNURB command, mesh faceted gemstones are perfect candidate for this.

Akash, thank you, I didn’t know about that command.
Since gems are make of flat facets, that about the only good use for the command.
It replaces each mesh facet with a trimmed NURBS surface and Joins it all back together.
