Nudge screwed up due to new default keyboard macros - Why?

Why were keyboard macros for Shift + PgDn and Shift + PgUp added as defaults to V8 and V9? They are not in V7 and earlier. These are a major annoyance and screwed up my workflow:

I set Options for Nudge so the arrow keys and PgDn and PgUp keys can be used directly, without also pressing the ALT key.

PgDn and PgUp work as nudge keys with no modifier and with the Ctrl modifier. But these new, unwanted keyboard macros result in the Shift key modifier when nudging not working with PgDn or PgUp. Deleting the keyboard macros resolved this.

If these new keyboard macros are now necessary as defaults, then the option for setting Nudge to use the arrow keys directly should disable/remove these macros.

Yeah no one requested those new macros and the default should be to nudge with arrow keys alone.

let’s discuss this in the other topic, closing this one.
