I work at an architecture firm and I am creating a script to for us to use to create mullions.
When I select the multiple lines I need to trim using circles, I get a perfect result on all other lines except one. I’ve tried recreating that line and still nothing.
What am I doing wrong? if you notice from the picture, the circles are cutting through the line and leaving only the piece that is outside of the circle. However, this one line gives me a completely different result. I’d appreciate some help.
I tried to extract the non functional points and checked the z value but the are all the same like the trimmed start and end points.
For some non obvious reasons the plane fit does not works or give a wrong result so you have only to use the circle centers as a origion for the xy plane so that the calculation works.
