Normals and Albedo Channels not available

The buttons for showing the normals and albedo channels in the Rhino Renderer window are not selectable. They have the typical grey aspect when some options have not been activated.
How do I fix this issue?

In the Rendering panel scroll down to Render Channels. Click on Custom and enable Normals and Albedo. Although I do think Albedo may be broken - at least I don’t see an Albedo button here on Mac. The Normals channel I see here.
