Noob question on closing surface

Hi All

Noob question here, I am trying to close a surface with only one edge and can’t find the command to do so online.

I’ve pasted a picture of the surface below. It’s an ellipsoid trimmed to look like a claw.

Hi Steve if you trimmed that surface with a curve, Undo (or Untrim) and then use WireCut instead. If you trimmed with a surface, trim that surface with the trimmed roundy thing.
