I am looking at ways to improve our geometry validation functionality in V6. The following attachment ( VDA4955.pdf (838.0 KB) ) contains the VDA specifications for validating geometry. Section 2.3 gives a good list of potential problems that need to be detected at various times during modeling and file translation.
