Noise in Toucan rendering

Hello, I’m performing rendering tests with Toucan. Fiddling mainly with occlusion (light intensity and shadow intensity) and it looks promising. At some point in my tests some noise (black pixels) appeared in the image. Trying to revert with no success; the noise stays. Changed slightly the viewing angle, antialiasing settings, quit & re-open the file, log-out & log-in etc. all with no success. I’ included a small area of the image where you can see the black pixels (noise). Anybody ever have this bug?



We will need your model and image files to be able to test this.

Marlin, I found the culprit. I had a flat surface with a tiled mapping with noise. As soon as the mapping was removed, the noise disappeared.
