No length input accepted on -line _vertical

I noticed that the command -line _vertical will not accept an input for length. when entering eg. “2”+enter nothing changes.

normal line does work as before.

Thanks for the report, it looks like the Enter after the number in this case is the issue. If you just type the number the vertical line is limited. Does that work for you too? I think the Enter should not clear the limit and let you pick the side to make the line towards.

yeah, just inputting the number works.

that is new compared to v5 so I did not try and it does not work like that for other commands, so I think the number + enter should remain the standard way to set length constrain within commands.
