No curves, edges or isocurves showing

Hi,

I just started to use rhino 8, used previous versions for a long time.
I have an issue showing curves, edges and isocurves. whatever i try; display options, everything seems okay.
the curve is there when i search with selCrv but it only starts to become visible if i extract a surface from this curve
the weirdest thing is that when I change the color of one side of the solid the edges appear out of nothing.

can someone help me how to enable the edges and curves?

I’d start by getting the most up-to-date drivers for that GPU. When you run the Rhino Notifications command, you’ll get a panel with links to AMD’s driver pages.

I have same problem in Rhino 8, no curves are shown, but are in a square or box with dotted lines.

System Info gives this if that gives any idea of the problem??

if it is brand new and you need it for Rhino, I’d return it and buy a different machine that fits this description-

If you are in the market for a new lap top to run rhino. Most importantly, Look for one with a **standalone video card. Specifically an Nvidia RTX(recommended) or higher end AMDcard **. More vram and more rendering cores (Called cuda cores on an nvidia card) are better. Mac users should be looking at a Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4. Rhino requires 4 gb vram for each monitor you connect. this system does not have the supported hardware needed to run Rhino. A different machine is the only path at this time.

In some cases, updating the drivers for the GPU might help some. As Kyle noted, however, that platform is not something that we currently support.
