when applying a rhino clipping plane to a view with grasshopper objects (closed bReps), I get this result:
Whenbaking the objects to rhino, the closed breps will be capped, which gives a much clearer view.
Isthere a way to do the capping also for grasshopper objects?
In the Grasshopper Rhino tab, you’ll find the Extract Sections component. It can slow things down a bit.

Do you mean “ExtractClippingSections”?
Does it only exist in rhino 9 WIP? I am on rhino 8.
Any Tips?
Using Rhino 8 you have access to 9 Beta

I know.
But no chance to use WIP in my current situation … need a totally stable setup for the daily bred and butter things …
If there are any ideas for a workaround, please let me know
brt1:
workaround
Group your clipping plane with a perpendicular line, reference that in Grasshopper and create a section.

good idea!
But I have a huge definitionion with hundreds of objects. impossible to plug them on and off and do per-object-settings or contructions. I´d need something more general.
I only need capped display of closed bReps.
