Newbie: Octane Render - can't set up material values

Hey guys, is somebody into Octane for Rhino, I bought the license but refused to use it further because it’s so complicated.

My main issues:

  1. It won’t update geometry changes
  2. you can’t directly change values (says only copy and paste)
    Is there a proper tutorial on this? or is this a bug or old version? Thanks! Hannes

Did you try to scroll down to the Node parameters? It can be half seen at your screenshot.

Tick the Live Geometry Update checkbox as described in the manual Page Redirection

There are two scrollbars - use the outer scrollbar to get to the node edit box. McNeel have indicated the UI for the Material panel will be enhanced in Rhino6, so hopefully the material tree control will then auto-size as you make the Material panel larger.
