I just setup Rhino 8. First time Rhino user. Trying to connect Faro Edge Arm. I am not seeing that Rhino is acknowledging that the Faro is connected. Other softwares (DesignX, Cam2) clearly show the connection and allow us to scan. Why are we trying Rhino? Cam2 really has no modelling features of which to speak, DesignX has limited modelling and NX is too expensive.
So, we are down to Rhino and Spaceclaim for testing. The goal is to scan and reverse engineer mold cores.I have enable the “digitizing” icons within Rhino, and commands pop up. However, it does not show and scanner popups for the faro, or plot any points. Does anyone know what to expect, or if I am expecting too much from this?
Thanks
