I am using Autocad version. I am typing in new species. It doesn’t seem to appear in the all plant base.
Hi Gtmatsui,
Have you followed the instructions as indicated here? https://www.landsdesign.com/support/tip/what-are-the-steps-to-create-a-new-plant-species-in-the-plant-database/
If you save the new plant species, it must be added to the database. If it´s not so, please send more detail including screenshots, what is your AutoCAD and Lands version, etc.

Hi Elham,
I am still not able to add plants into the plant data base either through new species or copy species then modifying. #1 shows attempt at selecting New Specis, # 2 show status of data base after tried to add new species. #’s 3, 4 show the steps that I tried to create new plant by Copy Species and then modifying characteristics. #3 is data base and plant attempting to modify, before attempting to Copy Species, #4 shows attempt at Copy Species, #5 shows data base after clicking ok to Copy Species. #6,7,8 show attempt of taking existing plant and trying to modify, #6 shows plant being copied, #7 shows result of attempt. I am on AutoCad 2017 version. What am I doing incorrectly. Thank you for your assistance.
Glenn
First attempt probably worked but you have enabled a filter (Autumn color change, in Characteristics) that is likely preventing the dialog from listing the newly created species. The following attemps, then, fail because Species name already exists.
Yes, got it to work. Getting to understand it more now. Thank you very much for your effective help.
