After clicking onto the icon for creating a New File, Rhino 8 does not switch to the New File.
I have attached two screenshots of this problem and my systeminfo.

are you on the latest version?
I was having this same issue but it’s been working correctly in the past update or two.
for reference, I’m on version 8.14.24345.15002
