Hi all…
I have been trying to create new families using the “New Component Family”, but have been facing an issue were I want to maintain specific parameters turned on/off from the list of default family params below.
To do so I have tried creating a family template (.rft) attached below and inputting it to the component… but no matter what parameters were selected inside the template (Cuts with voids) for this STR Foundation RFT attached… still the newly created family in the project doesn’t have the same values

I have also tried the below setup to inspect params from the new family and edit the value but even though I don’t get any errors or warnings and the output value is changed… if I edit the family the parameter is still not checked.
Hope there is a solution for this process, or some guidance if I am doing something wrong.
