Need help with this IFC shell

Hi, I have attached two images one is of a shell and the other is of a sample framing for the shell. I need to model the frames following the sample. but the sample model is not accurate as it is somewhat smaller than the shell so there is gap between the bottom of the shell surface and the frames so I can not directly use it. I can do it manually but it will take a lot of time and if there are changes it will be a nighmare. So I was thinking if I can do it in Rhino and grasshopper.

Can someone please give me some advice on how to achieve this? I have the IFC of the shell and I have to put place the beams following the Framing sample and avoiding the openings on the shell.

Hi Rony,

Looks like an awesome project you have there, lots of fun.

Tricky to know what the best approach would be, do you have some sort of center lines of the the frames and/or a surface of the shell. My approach would be different depending on what sort of files I could use. Would you mind elaborating on it a bit further?

Cheers Oskar

Hi Oscar, Thanks for responding
No exact centerlines were provided. Some of the centerlines I have to assume and others I have to put between the openings. And I have the IFC of the complete shell. So maybe I have to somehow extract the bottom surface of the shell and work with it. But I am not sure how it can be done
