hello i accidentally made this ring 18mm diameter instead of 15.5mm diameter but when i change the curve network i cannot figure out how to make the ring planar so i can extrude the inside of the shank and boolean difference it to make the ring
Hi Johnny,
there is your ring - You have to use “untrim hole” command, or “untrim” command to revert cutted surface to its original shape, then you can use bollean function to make different hole

sorry im a bit confused; i realised the ring was too heavy to cast so i adjusted the lines again for curve network but im a bit unsure about what you wanted me to trim
