Navigation instruction in viewport

Hi ShapeDiver Team,

I am trying to create a navigation instruction (a simple PNG image) that should float in the viewport as an overlay (HUD), similar to how a “Billboard” or “Screen-space Overlay” works.

I am using the latest version of the plugin, but I am struggling to find the correct workflow.

I want my instruction image to stay in a specific corner (e.g., Bottom Right) of the viewport, regardless of camera movement, and without activating a side menu.

Could you please guide me on which components or settings I should use in Grasshopper to achieve a floating viewport overlay?

Please check the tutorial “Create anchors in 2d locations” from this page.

When i try to use Serialize the container do not look like yours how do i get the inputs?

Those components from JSwan work like script components: if you zoom in, you will see little + buttons allowing you to add inputs.

Tanks for support:)

You need to switch the version of JSwan you are using to the previous one (1.2.0 instead of 1.2.1), you can do this directly in the package manager.

We currently cannot update JSwan to the latest version on the shared servers due to a breaking change.
