No update for quite long, but I made a lot of tools, for my own use at the moment.
Following this discussion I did a component that makes “fur”
The component uses a function (graph mapper, curve, equation) to make the fur profile, gravity is a vector field, wind is a vector field, length of fur is described with a scalar field.
There is also a 2 little components One that generate image from curve regions, and one that generate a pdf from a list of images. This help for fabrication.
I made lots of tools to slice and connect models
I also add some tool to populate using scalar field, on the surface on inside the volume.
Farthest Point Sampling, a tool that extract just a defined number of points from a list of points (from blue points to 1000 red points)
A file radar tool, this tools search if a file is in the grasshopper file, if it is in the full path and if not search the whole PC
