Whenever I make a fast scroll (with the mouse scroll wheel) to examine a detail, there’s a popup menu with unwanted icons that pops up right where I need to work. Is there any way I can stop this process?
Sounds like you’re also pressing the mouse scroll wheel. Make sure you don’t press the wheel, as that acts as the middle mouse button, which pops up this panel.
If you really don’t want that to happen ever you can change that through Tools > Options > Mouse. Perhaps set it to Run macro, but leave the macro empty.
I guess I was unknowingly also pressing the wheel. Setting it to run a blank macro did the job.
