Mystery Bug: Drawing does not appear in Layout

Heads up: I have managed to get Rhino into a state where

  1. Go to layout detail
  2. Draw something (Line circle dimension) and it does not appear in the detail.
  3. Go to say TOP and the something is visible.

It appears I can COPY an existing shape and it remains visible.

I have restarted Rhino and the problem still appears. Looks like it needs a reboot to clear (OS/Rhino issue).
