I was just about to make this scissor and I was trying to trim some lines and it didn’t work
(saved my work and after an hour) all my surfaces have lots of copies when clicking on each one. I tried deleting one by one and when I clicked again they were all back. What shall I do. Here is attached the 3dm. Appreciate your help!

Dear @kiaarjen27
you can clean up most of the duplicates with
_selDup _delete
did you try to close Rhino and restart your computer ??
did you install any plug-ins or scripts that run at rhino start up ?
if the problem still exists - if you open a simple text editor and keep the focus on this App - will there be any input, … might be that some of your keyboard buttons are broken ? any special input device ? - disconnect them
in Rhino - if you get those multiple surfaces, what is the last command you called ? do you see any input in the command-history (F2) ?
Is your rhino up to date ?
you may want to post the _systemInfo
output here as well.
hope some of my questions help to identify the problem. - kind regards -tom
Hi Tom,
I’ll definitely use the command _selDup _delete for the next time.
To answer your questions:
- I didn’t restart
- I have no additional tools installed on the software
- I checked my keyboard and it’s doing well
- My Rhino is up to date as far as I know
I’ll keep in mind and if it happens once again I won’t hesitate and follow your steps.
All the best,
Kiarash
so your problem is solved for now ?
or is there a way to reproduce (how ?) this error ?
So far I’ve started with a new page and I tried the command _selDup _delete and it works well. It is solved. Appreciate your fast and helpful response Tom.
