Hello, I’m trying to retrieve contour curves between a polysurface and a plane.

The method _Brep.CreateContourCurves_ works fine but I’d like to get the curves per every surface in the polysurface.

Sorry, english isn’t my main language, I prepared some screens to better show the situation:

If I intersect the polysurface and the plane I get one single curve

But my original polysurface is made of three surfaces. Would it be possible to get the curves for each surface even if they are joined in a single polysurface?

I think I can probably access underlying surfaces using Brep.Surfaces and then make it work from there by first testing bounding boxes for intersection then getting the curves but I just want to be sure I’m not reinventing the wheel.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @o11225669,

Does the results of the contour produce a polyline? If so, then just split up the polyline at it’s vertices.

I feel stupid now, it was so simple. Thank you!
