If I place a dimension, then double click to edit it, inserting a carriage return then another line of text, the properties window does not seem to show the carriage return in the edit window. Also, I can’t seem to find a way to make the preview window (don’t know what the real name is, but I labelled it in the image) any larger to fit more than one line at once (I see I can scroll it, but it would be nice to be able to just resize).
Also, is there a way to change or override the justification for dimensions? Right now it seems to be centered, while the text for the current dim style is left justified.
So far I don’t see a way to justify dimension text. Would it be OK to follow the annotation style, do you think? I’m not sure that is the right thing for dims…
Yeah, I think my original post was rather carelessly framed. I don’t think it necessarily needs to follow the annotation style justification, and I like that it defaults to center, but I would enjoy the ability to override the default justification.
If we have the ability to change the justification, we need a field in the style for it to use. That would mean adding another field unless we use the one for text.
