Some softwares requires Deactivation. The license is tied to a physical computer…
is this the case with Rhino as well?
I’m getting a new Mac, with my old machine changing hands.
thanks a lot

If your license is installed locally (not in a Rhino account), then go to Preferences > Licenses and choose “Change license key” then “Remove license”. The machine needs to be connected to the internet when you do this so it sends the info to McNeel’s validation server that the license has been removed. Then you should be able to install and validate it on another machine.
If the license is in a Rhino account (cloud zoo), you don’t need to do anything, just install Rhino on the new machine and tell it to use the license in your account.
Thanks a lot @Helvetosaur
I guess it’s a cloud zoo [upon startup it’s says: fetching license from cloud zoo]
