Moving solid points of sweep basically freezes system

Anyone else having major problems of system hanging up doing a simple moving of solid points of a sweep? (i.e. trim inside a window)

What’s the sweep look like? Moving solid points can make really dense or jumbled iso curvature of the surface which can hang up in computing. Can I ask why you wouldn’t just edit the curves of the sweep using history? Your topology will be a lot better as a result.

For trims it is better to trim again rather than move solid points or you are most likely going to screw up the surface topology, expecially if the surface is not planar.

Sorry I never replied to this. Prob got crazy at work. Thanks for the info.

The sweep are usually some fairly basic window/door trim pieces.

With the amount of trim I’m sometimes dealing with, keeping all the Crv paths around can get just too busy (even with layers org) so I wanted to just be able to edit and shift. But yeah, maybe that’s just a limitation i have to deal with

And also - yes, I found that cutting the trim sweeps, or trimming again is just faster. Le sigh.
