In Autocad, there is a useful command called Changspace. It allows the user to transfer objects between the Model space and Layout space keeping the same position and scale.
For example, I draw a hatch square in the layout view which is 100mm x 100mm, and the layout has one detail at 1:10 scale. If the hatch is sitting above that detail, I can _Chspace, and the object is placed into the model space now at 1m x 1m; directly under where the camera to the layout is.
This is an invaluable command, and I’m wondering if something like this can be made to exist in Rhino 8, if it doesn’t already exist?
