MoveEdge converts an untrimmed planar surface to a trimmed rectangular degree 1 planar surface. Non-planar surfaces are not converted. It can cause problems by converting a surface without the user being aware the surface has been converted. This “feature” is not described in Help. MoveEdge | Rhino 3-D modeling
Why ??? It must have been intentional because extra code is required to detect when a surface is planar and then do the conversion, etc.
At a minimum it should be described in Help. It would be better if it was made an option. I assume it can’t be eliminated because someone may have a macro or script which relies on it.
