Move via bounding box?

So, in 2D - If I have an oddly-shaped object (Block or otherwise) and I turn on “Use Bounding Box” and “Show Bounding Box” in the BoxEdit window, shouldn’t I be able to grab the object (i.e. snap) by the Bounding Box, so I can - for example - pull a curved object against a straight line?

Hello - no - at least that is not part of the design of BoxEdit. You could work around by actually making a bounding box - BoundingBox command - and using that as a reference.

-Pascal working

AH, yes, forgot about that, thank you.

The Align command may also be useful. It essentially uses a bounding box.

Nice. thanks
