Always worked before.
This was recently fixed in Rhino 7. The fix went into Rhino 7.5. To install the release candidate, change your update frequency to “Service Release Candidate”.

To subscribe to Service Release Candidates:
Launch Rhino for Mac.
Navigate to Rhino (top menu) > Preferences > General
In the Updates section, from the Update Frequency drop-down box, select Service Release Candidate
Click Check Now
