I have been using 2D AutoCAD for my work for several years now just using a regular mouse. I have been learning Rhino 8 online with the same mouse. Have just purchased the Logitech G502 Lightspeed. Could someone tell me what a typical simple button setup would be for either both apps together or independently from their experience please?
Logitech has software you can assign custom buttons and create profiles called G hub
i have my old corsair now because i accidently dropped my logitech one but this is how i have it setup at the moment, it can look like this:

Thanks for this. Did you ever use the numbers 2 and 3 buttons for anything? I take it the forward and back would be viewing? What do you use Rhino for mostly?
I do hobby stuff and some timelapse videos at the moment building my portfolio before I go and do studies soon
The commands i have on the mouse are the ones i use the most the idea was to limit the amount of clicks
Does not show on the image and those are the default names of the mouse but if I recall it right the setup I went with:
G7hide, G4isolate, G9select curves, G8middle mouse on the side buttons
You can customise however you like and need then it’s muscle memory
