you can change your mouse speed, but sadly that is a operating system function, not a rhino function. You’ll need to change that in windows itself, (or OSX)
the other features you are requesting can also all be added to an alias (hotkey) and called with a keystroke+enter
here is a list of my Aliases (hotkeys) as an example-
Hey just take it from me, who over 20 years ago futzed around with some insane customization options…you’re wasting your time, or to put it more accurately what you’re trying to engage in here is a “hobby,” not “actual productivity improvement.” There’s no evidence–none!–anything anyone wants to do to save a click actually improves productivity, and if you learn this weird custom Rhino, you’re really in trouble if you need to use a ‘vanilla’ one. And I mean, I don’t know about the rest of you I have work to do I don’t have time to mess around with this stuff and learn it and try to actually evaluate if it’s better. And from your posts it seems more like you need to work more on “learning Rhino” before you worry about trying to rebuild the interface off of the Gumball.
It isn’t specific to Rhino, but certain mice have configurators that allow you to change button functions per program.
For example, using a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, the Logitech Options software lets me change the function of the back/forward buttons and side button gesture. This hasn’t been a game-changing bit of functionality, but it is nice.
I have my forward button set to the Distance command, the back button to the Shift key (so that I can pan instead of orbit with right-click), and the 4 side button gestures set to ZoomExtents, ZoomSelected, SelLast, and to toggle Project on and off. Minor stuff but it makes things a little quicker for me.
When I align the viewport with: Ctrl+shift+right mouse I can’t draw in the viewport.
Is there anything I can do to be able to draw in this viewport?
Thanks
