Mouse precision , GUMBALL and other resources

Hello

Is it possible to configure more features in GUMBALL?

Another question
How can I have more precise mouse movement commands using a shortcut?

I already know how to do this in Gunball, but I wanted to use this in all Rhino features by activating it with a shortcut.

Thanks

more features, like…?

You can hotkey the “drag strength” command

resources such as: inset, fillet, ExtractIsocurve and others.

Regarding mouse precision, is this resource available for all Rhino commands?

drag strength affect gumball transforms only.

you can change your mouse speed, but sadly that is a operating system function, not a rhino function. You’ll need to change that in windows itself, (or OSX)

the other features you are requesting can also all be added to an alias (hotkey) and called with a keystroke+enter

here is a list of my Aliases (hotkeys) as an example-

Is there a way for a command’s options to be shown in a window instead of being shown on the command line? Does this apply to all commands?

no, the command line will be the way you interact with all rhino command options.

yes all commands except things like move uvn which has a modal dialog box.

Are there plugins that offer mouse interface configuration options?

Are there any tool packages for architecture, mainly for organizing projects?

Any improvements to the Layers, groups, visibility, etc. features?

Is it possible to open a toolbar with a shortcut?

Thanks

Hey just take it from me, who over 20 years ago futzed around with some insane customization options…you’re wasting your time, or to put it more accurately what you’re trying to engage in here is a “hobby,” not “actual productivity improvement.” There’s no evidence–none!–anything anyone wants to do to save a click actually improves productivity, and if you learn this weird custom Rhino, you’re really in trouble if you need to use a ‘vanilla’ one. And I mean, I don’t know about the rest of you I have work to do I don’t have time to mess around with this stuff and learn it and try to actually evaluate if it’s better. And from your posts it seems more like you need to work more on “learning Rhino” before you worry about trying to rebuild the interface off of the Gumball.

It isn’t specific to Rhino, but certain mice have configurators that allow you to change button functions per program.

For example, using a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, the Logitech Options software lets me change the function of the back/forward buttons and side button gesture. This hasn’t been a game-changing bit of functionality, but it is nice.

I have my forward button set to the Distance command, the back button to the Shift key (so that I can pan instead of orbit with right-click), and the 4 side button gestures set to ZoomExtents, ZoomSelected, SelLast, and to toggle Project on and off. Minor stuff but it makes things a little quicker for me.

not for rhino specifically- this would only be on the mouse driver or OS level.

Archicad is a one that is intended to run on top of Rhino, similar to how matrix runs on top of rhino for jewelers. But it’s an additional cost.

you can also run Rhino inside of Revit, if you are a revit user.

Does rhino already exist inside blender?

no not at this time.

These programs that work with Rhino: Archicad, Revit

Are Rhino tools available within their interface?

Or is it more for LiveLink?

Do any of them add non-destructive (parametric) modeling tools to use with Rhino tools?

I work with game scenarios. Do you think I can benefit from using these programs in terms of modeling and scene organization?

Thanks

When I align the viewport with: Ctrl+shift+right mouse I can’t draw in the viewport.
Is there anything I can do to be able to draw in this viewport?
Thanks
