Most recent update layout Issues

Hi,

Wondering if anyone else is having the same issues that I am since the recent update. I make many drawing sheets in Rhino, and the most recent update has changed the functionality in a bunch of bad ways. The two that I’m experiencing consistently are:

  1. In orthographic views, if I select a control point of a detail box and move it, the entire view recenters. Previously, the view would stay the same and would only alter the frame. What this means is that, if I’ve lined up views on the layout page but need to make the detail frame wider or shorter, the entire view changes with the resize, ruining the work I did lining everything up.
  2. Leaders aren’t staying where I put them if I use OSnap to snap them to something within a detail. I enter the text I want and then they randomly snap to somewhere else on the page. The same has happened with dimensions. The only way I can make it work is to make a leader that isn’t attached to anything and then move it to where I want it to go. But that means it has no history that attaches to objects.

This is really throwing off my workflow and is incredibly annoying. Not clear why this version has backslid in this way and if I’m the only one experiencing it.

Hi Michael -
Could you post the output from the Rhino SystemInfo command and a simple 3dm file that I can use to troubleshoot?

I did a hard restart on my entire system, and the problem seems to have gone away. Weird bug apparently, but I’m not able to recreate it now. Thank goodness!
