I have so many plug-ins, when i type “decon” there are so many components with “deconstruct” and I i can’t find the one i need… usually Deconstruct Brep or Deconstruct Block

can you change the number of search results or turn things off from the search?

You can use the first 3 letters: dec blo or dec bre to filter for example

I had a hard time finding the point / deconstruct point at first too. What helped me out is to set the aliases to something convenient. For example, Point is just “P”, and Deconstruct (point) is “D”. You can access the alias by right-clicking the icon in the ribbon.

I don’t know how to set the alias if you can’t find the button’s symbol in the main ribbon. It won’t let me right click anything in the pull-out menus. I’m sure there’s a way though?

You can also set aliases for hidden components

I’m not sure if a standard way exists to set aliases for these hidden components. But you can find and edit aliases from the grasshopper settings folder/grasshopper_aliases.xml or %AppData%\Grasshopper\grasshopper_aliases.xml. Is there a plugin or setting that I can change to make the grasshopper canvas search results comprehensive and scrollable? (much like the rhino command line)
