Modelling office variations

Hi all,
I’ve been modelling in Rhino since version 4 but have only just arrived at a potential use case for grasshopper. It’s exciting to see it baked into v7! My question is whether grasshopper would be helpful for my situation and worth learning. What do you reckon?

I have a requirement to model 200+ variations of an office space. The variations are simple, for example:

  • number of desks 1 through to 20
  • with window on 1 side, two sides or no window.

Could this be modelled programmatically, or is it worth sticking with block definitions and a whole lot of copy and pasting?
