Model Tree

(Tom Dillon97) #1

Hi,
I’m new to Rhino so this may sound like a very simple question, but is there an equivalent to the model tree found in autodesk inventor in rhino? I’ve downloaded some geometry from the internet and I wish to see all of the user commnads that were used to model it. The “history” feature in rhino only seems to give me what I have done since opening the geometry. Maybe the layers tube allows this as there seems to be some infromation there but I dont know how to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Regards
Tom

Rhino has no feature/model tree (like SolidWorks, Catia or Inventor), hence you will not be able to see what you want to see.

Hey Tom,

Could you show us an image of what you want to do? Although Rhino may not have the feature you’re talking about, there may very well be a work-around.

There is no workaround. When you import a .3dm, there is none of that present what the OP asks for.
