Metahopper not installing via Package Manager on MacOS

Thanks again for Metahopper – it’s pretty much a default in all my GH setups these days.

Over the weekend I was helping a client automate some workflows in Grasshopper and training him to build his own scripts. He followed up today to say that Metahopper didn’t auto-install via the Package Manager on his Mac.

I believe I’ve seen this issue before, and I suspect it’s related to the package not being marked as Mac-compatible.

Would you mind checking the current version on the Package Manager and confirming whether it’s flagged for MacOS?

in case you still want to use metahopper on your mac, I had the same issue but stumbled on a solution that works for me: I just checked the “Include pre-releases” box… and would you look at that, metahopper shows up in the toolbar.
