Meshes direct geometry with same attributes get different appearance

I previously was building this geometry from unextruded meshes and connecting both meshes into the Geometry node of directshape resulted in both meshes having the expected material properties.

When I modified my definition to extrude these meshes and sent that into the geometry node, something weird happened with the appearance:

I already tried inverting normals of the weird one (Left). Any ideas?

From a lower vantage point, they also kind of look more similar.

Hi Ct.Rhino,

Can you internalize after the plugin component & we’ll take a look. Thanks

There’s also a weird error in shaded view mode (shown above was consistent colors) but it looks fine in rendered mode.

Thanks! Not the biggest deal but I am curious what is causing the issue.

I’m not seeing any major errors, do you have surfaces on top of surfaces in your model?

No. But its not preventing me from moving forward.

Are you getting the same results in a new file? I’m not seeing the issue if i understanding correctly.

The meshes are displaying correctly 90% of the time so I’m not that concerned about the issue, especially because I will be producing final views using a combination of photoshop, illustrator, etc. Thank you!
