Mesh Transformation with set of verticies

Hello,

I’m trying to transform this mesh by moving some verticies and not others and then re constructing the mesh, but it makes a mess and I can’t work out why? I think the result is going to be ugly anyway, but I’d really like to know anyhow. I’m looking to create an inflation (similar to pressure goal in Kangaroo, but can’t use the process for many reasons). The verticies that don’t move are like the anchors

The mesh verticies I want to move are defined by a mesh+ component.
