Mesh/Surface/Curves from 3dGrid

Hello, I’m a super beginner to Grasshopper. I’ve tried looking around google for a simple answer but I haven’t found one yet.

What I’ve done so far is that I’ve created a polysurface, and now I’d like to distort it in different ways with different attraction points. I found one way to do it in a way that made me happy, and that was to create a point grid out of the breps. But now I’m looking for a way to make the 3dpoint grid that got created into a mesh or brep again, and I can’t figure out how. The brep is a simple box from the start, and still look like a box in grid form. I’m sure there is a simple answer but I’ve been on google for one hour without finding what I need!

What I’d like to do is create a mesh or surface that looks like the distorted box from the 3d grid.

Thanks in advance for any help, and I’m sorry if there’s a simple tutorial somewhere that can answer this question.

No one can help you with just your screengrab.
It would be better to post detailed sketches or descriptions along with the necessary files. Please read the linked post first.

No problem Herr Nybörjare. Posta lite filer så får du troligen hjälp som överträffar dina förväntningar

That’s fair, I’ve cleaned it up, and attached one gh file

It’s easy to miss, but you have to press two buttons to upload your files. And don’t forget to “internalize” the Rhino data in the gh file.

D’accord. Är det möjligt att se filen nu? Det fungerar för mig att ladda ner den ifrån sidan.

Is this what you are after?

Hm, strange. I can’t see any file with my std browser, and I also tried browsing the page with another browser, but nothing. Try rename the file and upload it again (a failed file may fail again if using the same file name).

Edit: Oops, sorry. I didn’t see that you had uploaded the file in the original post. It looks ok.

That looks super correct! Thank you!
