Mesh scale "invisible" / 3DS import

Why are mesh objects “invisible” during scaling? (no matter with gumball or classic scale)?

After importing the 3D file lost some objects theirs transform (rotating, scaling, moving, etc.)…?

Hello - that is not the case here so far. Does this happen with say a new MeshBox?
