Mesh intersection failed

Hello!
I am trying to create a cylinder into which I want to insert a minimal surface structure.
Therefor I created a gyroid surface and gave the mesh an offset to get a solid.
To get the inner structure for the cylider, i gave a mesh of an cylinder and the gyroid mesh into the mesh intersection tool.
However the resulting mesh is not correct (-> picture) and the mesh intersection tool fails. I tried to refine and smooth the meshes, with no success.
Is there a possibility to cenvert the gyroid mesh into a brep and perform a solid intersection?
Thanks for your help.

Best regards

HI,Ben
Have you solved this problem now?
I am also using millipede to create a minimal surface, but can only generate cubes directly. If i want to get a minimal surface with a cylindrical shape, i still need to use Mesh difference, which is very easy to fail. Do you have any good solutions now ?
Looking forward to your reply, thank you
