How can I flow along curve or flow along surface without the twist or kinks in the bone

Hi Eddy- try turning the target curve 90 degrees so that the loop is not vertical in the world space.

OK thanks, that it. Why did it work and not vertical. And does it matter on other commands how something is oriented?
Sweep1 and Pipe will sometimes do this if there is a vertical loop in the curve.
