Mesh Edge Collapse (improvement suggestion)

HI,

Would it be possible to control where Edge Collapses? At the moment the user clicks on the edge Rhino decides how to collapse it. It would be great to have a bit more of control. I would suggest that depending on what side of the the edge gets clicked on, the edge would collapse to the nearest vertex.

Target Weld and being able to Collapse multiple vertices would be great. See the attach video as a demonstration.
