Hi All,

I have a grasshopper script that generates this mesh based on some environmental factors, assinging a different colour based on how much this factor impacts the geometry.

I am struggling to see in Rhino where the colour of the mesh is being stored, when I explode and try select by colour, It selects all meshes despite them appearing to be different colours.

Hi @James_Bell

Is this vertex coloring and not material or layer coloring? If it were layer or material coloring that would allow you to use select by color on the exploded mesh. Rhino reports layer as the display.

You might need to assign the colored mesh areas to different layers in GH before baking.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.
