Memory Leak in Layouts?

Hi All,

Issue:
I have been using the layout functions a lot in the WIP and am pretty sure it is eating up memory.

My System:
MacBook Pro Retina (late 2013)
2.3GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048MB
MacBook Pro is a 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display

When it Happens:
This has happened several times with multiple files.
This usually happens when I am arranging details in the layout, changing their size via pointsOn command, or scaling or copying them.

I do not get this error in other programs, i.e. photoshop, vector works, etc.

Thank you for reporting this. Hrmmm. Seems similar to the issues being reported in this thread. We are having a very difficult time reproducing this behavior on our machines reliably. Any other information you can provide - exactly what you are doing in Layout, how long it takes, etc - could be helpful.

We are investigating.

Hi Shawn-

Could I trouble you to try to reproduce this memory leak in the latest RhinoWIP? We’ve been “plugging” as many of these leaks as we can find (they are very difficult to find) and we think we might have eliminated the one you are reporting.

Since we have such a difficult time reproducing the leaks, we are reliant on those that see them to call them out.
