Matrix gold 3

Hello everyone,
I am using rhino version 7.34 and matrixgold 3.
The graphics card is Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050 Ti with the latest driver version.
Suddenly the report display disappeared (black windows in the reports)
Also, in the rendering view, the materials appear black and there is no response when adding the rendering environment or the materials by Matrix Cycles.
When switching to raytraced view the image disappears completely.
Until the problem appeared, everything was working fine and without any problems at all. No software or updates were installed before the problem appeared.
I would be very happy for help on this matter.

You would need to ask the Matrix people about that.

there is a studio driver and a gaming driver for nvidia… some systems the studio works great, others the studio works great… the only thing I’ve seen is one will work on one machine and not the other… I cannot for the life of me figure out why, but you may try the “other” style driver on your machine and install it custom/advanced with the clean install option checked.

any chance you could post the result from running the systeminfo command in Rhino?

hi thank you for you efforts. attached the system info from rhino

ATTENTION:
No graphics device is being used. Either an error occurred on startup, or certain devices have been disabled.
See below for any possible configuration changes that may help resolve this issue.

The “Main Display” is conncected to an external USB display port device, which is preventing the
proper video drivers from being loaded by Windows.

  • Recommended:
    • Use Windows’ Display Settings to configure the laptop screen as the “Main Display”.
    • Or, unplug a monitor and plug it into a built-in video port (HDMI/DP) on the laptop.
Then use Windows’ Display Settings to configure that monitor to be the “Main Display”.
  • Any hardware configuration or cabling changes you make will require that you restart Rhino.

You’ve got issues.

Firstly please purchase a legit Rhino license.

The issue you are seeing are due to your Video configuration. Get that sorted out and a licensed Rhino will run fine on a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU Memory: 4GB (This device is not currently being used)
