Materials getting mixed up

I still have severe problems with this in these files.

Can we somehow pinpoint what is going on?

All the roof beams should be the same material as the closest one. I keep on changing them back, but they go haywaire all the time.

Not only the beams, but many other things as well.

I believe there were some fixes regarding materials getting mixed up. On what Rhino 8 version are you currently? (Rhino command _SystemInfo)

I think your issue sounds similar to: RH-85204 Display Metal: Materials can change when manipulating the view on Mac

But the fix for that should be in 8.16, which is what you are using.

@DavidEranen do you have any further ideas here?

Well, I’ve changed materials back. Let’s see if they stay correct henceforth.

And I’m on a PC, so if the issue was only fixed on Mac, then I’m smoked.

There was a fix also for Windows by another dev - it should be in the 8.16 build as well.

Let us know if the problem persists after the changes you made. If it does, please upload a file with the problem to us.

This is still appearing.

Where can I send the file privately? You’ll get the full file, not an export.

I have no idea what is going on.
