Can a material assignation sometimes persist in manifesting obsolete material properties - its material properties becoming baked in?
To clarify: is there a circumstance where Material A is assigned to an object or surface and the object subsequently maintains the original properties of Material A even after Material A is subsequently changed in the material editor?
I have a situation in which individual surfaces of a polysurface to which a particular material is assigned by object property > material and nested in a block may not be responding to edits of the colour of that material, while entire polysurfaces assigned to the material by layer are responding to these edits.
